New Delhi: The Department of Electrical
Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia
(JMI) is going to organize a two-day National Seminar on ‘Solar Robotics’ on
October 9-10, 2015.
The seminar is being organized to
explore the challenges and opportunities for the development of solar energy as
a competitive energy source. Scientific studies and applications related to
solar robotics have shown rapid progress and become increasingly important for
our country. Besides, this research area has already been well focused by
academics worldwide.
The seminar will provide a platform to
present practical and theoretical studies and technological advances, so that
academicians, researchers, industry and Government representative who closely
follow national/international developments in solar robotics system can
communicate and conduct assessments on recent technologies.
The seminar will bring together many
researchers representing the basics of solar energy utilization. Their
objective will be to identify the technical barriers to large-scale
implementation of solar energy and the basic research directions in the area of
solar robotics.
Prof. S. Maji, Director, G.B. Pant
Engineering College shall be the Chief Guest of the programme.
Prof. Sudipto Mukherjee, Indian
