 Ø Pakistan bowler Yasir Shah was on Sunday charged with an anti-doping violation and provisionally suspended by the International Cricket Council.

Ø Chlortalidone- the substance which was found in his blood, which is on WADA's prohibited list of diuretics and masking agents.

Ø He is currently ranked No.4 in the Test bowler’s rankings. He has taken 76 wickets from 12 Tests at 24.17.

Ø He is the fourth-highest Test wicket-taker overall this year till date.

Ø He was the second player from the subcontinent to be provisionally suspended for a doping violation recently.

Ø Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman Kusal Perera was the first who faces a four-year ban after his 'B' sample tested positive for a banned substance.
