Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind
Kejriwal prayed for well being, peace and prosperity of people of the city and
also reiterated commitment of his Govt. for serving people of Delhi with full
devotion and dedication. He attended Iftar
hosted by Sh. Imran Hussain, Minister of Food & Civil Supplies,
Environment & Forest and Election, Govt of NCT of Delhi and Member
Legislative Assembly, Assembly Constituency - Ballimaran.
Speaking on the occasion,
Hon’ble Chief Minister congratulated Sh. Imran Hussain for organizing the event
which helps in bringing together and integrating people belonging to different
communities and sharing common heritage. He specially appreciated the communal
harmony and peaceful coexistence of people of different faiths and beliefs in
old Delhi areas.

Sh. Imran Hussain informed
that Ramzan is the holy month for Muslim people during which they maintain a
daily fast, help those less fortunate and share Iftar with family, friends, and
strangers. He further said that Ramzan
Iftar (a break in the fast) is a shared
dinner with family and new people from different backgrounds and is a
meaningful way to promote brotherhood and understanding of each other. The Iftar event expresses the holy month of
Ramzan’s spirit of charity, generosity
and compassion.
Imran Hussain also offered his services for
the welfare of people especially those hailing from walled city area.
