One Year of Demonetization: Congress  to observe as Black Day
New Delhi: In a bid to certify its allegation that the decision of the  faulty and hasty implementation of demonetization by the Modi Government, Congress is not in mood go give any chance to create awareness among the people against Modi government.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president  Ajay Maken today held meetings with district presidents, district and Assembly observers regarding preparations for the Congress party’s human chain on 8th November at Connaught Place to mark the first anniversary of the  faulty and hasty implementation of demonetization by the Modi Government as “Black Day”. Addressing the observers, Shri Maken said due to the faulty and hasty implementation of demonetization and GST, the most people affected were from Delhi.

 Maken said demonetization not only broke the backs of the poor, labourers and the middle class, but also rendered lakhs of people jobless, thereby driving out lakhs of people from Delhi.
Shri Maken said demonetization inflicted a crushing blow on the poor labourers and the GST inflicted a similar blow on small industrialists and traders. As a consequence many poor labourers were also rendered jobless.

 Maken said the Congress workers will wear black clothes to form the human chain at Connaught Place on 8th November to observe “Black Day” to mark the first anniversary of the Modi Government’s faultily implemented demonetization. He said thousands of Congress workers from all corners of the Capital will take part in the human chain at Connaught Place. Shri Maken said he will attend the district-level meetings regarding the  preparations for the human chain. He appealed to the district and Assembly observers to make full preparations for the human chain at Connaught Place on 8th Novembers to observe the anniversary of Modi’s Government’s demonetization as “Black Day”.
