Dr.Sushil Gupta has been elected as the Rajya Sabha Member for Delhi from AAP.
Dr.Sushil Gupta: Facts in brief
Dr.Sushil Gupta is an educationist, agriculturalist and a social worker, with exemplary work in the field of Education and Healthcare. He has established and runs as a founder chairman, the following educational institutes providing education to more than 15,000 students.
He runs five schools in Delhi and five each in Haryana and Punjab and five colleges of Engineering and Technology in Haryana.
Dr Gupta is also associated with the more than a dozen educational organisations in Delhi and Haryana. He is also associated with the numerous organisations working in the fields of healthcare and medicine.
Dr Gupta is actively involved as a Chairman, trustee and president in many prestigious cultural/ religious/ recreational organisations in Delhi, UP, Haryana and Punjab. He is also an environmentalist. He has made relentless efforts towards getting the Najafgarh drain covered, and has actively run tree-plantation campaigns in the city resulting in plantation of over 25,000 trees all over Delhi.
He has been in public life since his student days and was the President of the Law Students Union of Delhi University. He also contested Delhi Legislative Assembly elections from the Motinagar constituency in 2013.
