Facts About ISRO's Plan in 2019; Facts in Brief
Gaganyaan is the much awaited space mission of India for which ISRO is all set to send manned mission on Moon. Gaganyaan is the Indian crewed orbital spacecraft is being designed is such a way that it can carry three people. 

Apart from this it is equipped and upgraded  with rendezvous and docking capability. 

It has been said that the vehicle is planned to be launched in December 2021. The module has been manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL).

In the year 2019, ISRO has many challenges including Chandrayaan, Gaganyaan and many missions. It has set deadlines for many important projects including launched many students based program this year.

Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dr K Sivan briefed all these things recently and disclosed the future program of the ISRO. 

Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dr K Sivan has  said that ISRO has planned 32 missions this year. Elaborating on the priority areas of ISRO, the Chairman said that these include Gaganyaan project, reaching out to students, outreach programmes, planned missions of this year and Vikram Sarabhai Centenary celebrations.

  • ISRO has planned to launchbb 32 missions this year. 
  • Gaganyaan to launch first manned mission by December 2021
  • The launch window for Chandravaan-2 is schedule on March 25 - April 30 in 2019.
  • ISRO has announced the ‘Young Scientists Programme’ to encourage the scientific talent and increase scientific pool in the country.
  • ISRO to establish six incubation centres in various parts of the country-North, South, East, West, Centre and North-East. First such Centre has been established in Agartala. 
  • 9 student satellites have been launched by ISRO till date and KALAMSAT will be launched by PSLV-C44 on 24th January this year.
  • The year-long Centenary Celebrations of Dr Vikram Sarabhai will commence from 12th August 2019. 
  • ISRO is set to launch first manned mission by December 2021.
  • First unmanned space flight will be launched by December 2020.
  • Second unmanned mission by July 2021.
