Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his tribute to martyrs at wreath-laying ceremony at Palam Airport. Meanwhile CRPF has made it clear that it will not forgive  the culprits. 

Needless to say, there is a big anger among the countrymen across the nation.

The terror attack in the Awantipora of Pulwama district has claims 40 lives of CRPF jawans. It has been said that an IED blast occurred at around 3.30 pm upon a CRPF convoy when the convoy was on its way  to Srinagar. 

Meanwhile Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that a strong reply will be given to those behind the terror attack in Pulwama in Kashmir. According to media reports, Union Home Minister has tweeted and said that the attack was carried out by Pakistan backed Jaish e Mohammed and a strong reply will be given and I assure the people of the country this. The country pays tribute to the brave jawans who were martyred.

The two CRPF vehicles came under attack of the terrorists. Reports claims that terrorists were conducted suicidal attack with their vehicle filled with explosive. However it has to confirmed by authencic sources. 

It has been said that more than 2,500 CRPF personnel were in the convoy. The soldiers were on the way to  rejoin duty in the Valley and there were  78 vehicles in the convoy. 

According to reports, the terror attack which carried out by the banned terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed which was responsible for similar attack on army camp in Uri in September 2016.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the attack on the CRPF. He tweeted that,"Attack on CRPF personnel in Pulwama is despicable. I strongly condemn this dastardly attack. The sacrifices of our brave security personnel shall not go in vain. The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the families of the brave martyrs. May the injured recover quickly."

Union minister Arun Jaitley tweeted, "Attack on CRPF in #Pulwama, J&K is a cowardice & condemnable act of terrorists. Nation salutes martyred soldiers and we all stand united with families of martyrs. We pray for speedy recovery of the injured. Terrorists will be given unforgettable lesson for their heinous act."
