Union Minister and BJP Leader Dr. Harshvardhan filed his nomination from Chandni Chowk Loksabha Constituency before the Returning Office in DC Office, Alipur today.
Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi joined him for the road show. Earlier in the morning, the BJP candidate Dr. Harsh Vardhan also performed Puja at his Election Office, Pushpanjali Enclave Near Deepali Chowk amidst chanting of ved mantras.
Later, he addressed the mammoth crowd and said that it was very evident that there is a pro-Modi wave in the country. He said that the 2019 Lok Sabha elections will see BJP-led NDA front grabbing more seats than what it notched up in the 2014 polls.
Dr Vardhan thanked the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as well as the BJP Chief Shri Amit Shah for giving him another opportunity to serve Chandni Chowk constituency. He said that the huge gathering of supporters present at the venue was itself an evidence of people’s love and admiration for the party and its credible performance.
Dr Harsh Vardhan attacked and mocked opposition parties for their ideology-less and leader-less Mahagathbandhan. Terming it as a front of opportunists and corrupt netas who have come together to grab power, the BJP’s Chandni Chowk candidate said Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has today become a symbol of probity in public life.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan said opposition parties fear that once Shri Narendra Modi becomes Prime Minister again, they will have to go to jail and rot there. Further he added that BJP stands for growth and public welfare; it stands for ‘India First’ and the security and happiness of all 130 crore Indians.
He said that neither AAP nor Congress has any program or policy to match BJP’s performance. The Union Minister, who is popularly known as ‘Dr Saheb’, said that currently there is a TINA factor in Indian politics, thereby meaning that there is a no alternative to Shri Narendra Modi as he has emerged as the representative of public aspiration of our countrymen.
Calling for en mass support to BJP in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Dr Harsh Vardhan said only a strong leader and strong government can lead India to become a strong nation. He said there is no doubt that Shri Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister of the country on May 23rd when results of the current elections are declared.
