Former Finance Minister, Noted lawyer and BJP leader Arun Jaitley passed away from a prolonged illness at AIIMS in New Delhi. He was the famous politician of the country and senior BJP leader. 

The famous eloquent speaker who serves many ministries including Finance, Defence and many more in the Union Cabinet is known for his political and professional career which was undoubtedly largely noncontroversial. He has a son Rohan Jaitley and a daughter Sonali Jaitley.

Actually Jaitley was the politician who refused to contest election in 2019 with Sushma Swaraj on the ground for his ailments. He is known for the troubleshooter for BJP for many times. 

Arun Jaitley was born on 28 December 1952 in New Delhi. His father was Maharaj Kishen Jaitley and Ratan Prabha Jaitley was his mother.  His father Maharaj Kishen Jaitley was a lawyer and professionaly he carried out the paternal profession and he becomes the famous laywer of his time.  He was a stundent of Shri Ram College of Commerce. 

He started his political career from the joining of ABVP and active in college politics. He use to raise the student’s issues is University and became the active member of student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP). He becomes the president of the University Students Union in 1974.  He was married to Sangeeta Dogra in 1982.

Arun Jaitley played crucial role for many for the BJP as a Chief Strategy planner. He plays important role as a strategy planner for BJP in the 2014.  However he lost his election in 2014 from Amritsar seat to the Congress leader Amrindar Singh.

In fact, it was  Arun Jaitley who gave the new direction as a key strategy maker after the sad demise of Pramod Mahajan. After the retirement of Atal Bihari Vajpayee from the active politics, it was Arun Jaitley who played crucial role for the BJP. 

As a finance minister, it was  Arun Jaitley under whom the Railway Budget was merged with the General Budget in the Modi government.
