Former Finance Minister, noted lawyer and BJP leader Arun Jaitley is known as the trouble shooter of the party in difficult situation. Arun Jaitley was born on 28 December 1952 in New Delhi. His father was Maharaj Kishen Jaitley and Ratan Prabha Jaitley was his mother.  His father Maharaj Kishen Jaitley was a lawyer and professionaly he carried out the paternal profession and he becomes the famous laywer of his time.  He was a stundent of Shri Ram College of Commerce. 

He started his political career from the joining of ABVP and active in college politics. He use to raise the student’s issues is University and became the active member of student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP). He becomes the president of the University Students Union in 1974.  He was married to Sangeeta Dogra in 1982.
