Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Subhash Chopra said that the Kejriwal Government’s half-hearted opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Bill passed in Parliament by the BJP Government to create communal polarization in the country shows its mindset towards the Sangh. He said that Kejriwal was not only a supporter of the BJP, but also favours the divisive polices of the Modi Government.
Shri Subhash Chopra also tweeted that it was not for the first time that the Kejriwal Government supported the Modi Government. He said that in the past too, AAP supported the BJP in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on various issues. Shri Chopra said that Kejriwal, who is notorious for taking U-turns, was against the minority community, and that was the reason why he has not spoken against this controversial Bill.
He said that the Congress party, on the other hand, has taken an aggressive stand against the Citizenship Amendment Bill. Chief spokesperson Shri Mukesh Sharma alleged that Kejriwal has maintained a studious silence on this anti-people Bill to give his support to the Sangh, and to mislead the people.
He said that AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh spoke half-heartedly on the Bill to take a middle path. Shri Mukesh Sharma warned the Aam Aadmi Party that Kejrwal was making public his endorsement of the BJP policies and asked him to spell out the reasons for his subjugation and why he was not coming out on the street to oppose this Bill.
