Earlier his name was Narendranath Dutta, and he was born the eights children of father Vishwanath Dutta and mother Bhuvaneshwari Devi.

It was Vivekanand whose historical speech in Chicago(USA) during the World’s Parliament of Religions had ignited to the world and also gave a new identity from India on the horizon of spirituality in the world. Born Narendranath Dutta, into an affluent Bengali family in Calcutta, Vivekananda was one of the eight children of Vishwanath Dutta and Bhuvaneshwari Devi.

It was Swami Vivekanand who has impressed and influenced the western world during his lecturer in the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago(USA) on 11 September 1893. It will be justified to mentioned here the grand appreciation for him during his opening line of the speech as- “My brothers and sisters of America"...The word which enchanted the audiences in the World Parliament and they paid a standing ovation for his opening words.
