Historic results by Delhi Govt. Schools, Pass Percentage of 98% Reflects the Tremendous Effort: Kejriwal
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated Delhi's Education team for securing a 98% pass percentage, the highest ever- "These results secured by our Delhi Govt schools are historic and unbelievable. I would like to congratulate the Education Department for its dedicated efforts in transforming education in the last five years."

The common perception on the quality of education in government schools being substandard has changed. The Delhi Govt. schools' results prove that our students are at par and even better than private school students.

CM Kejriwal said, "Earlier, Government schools used to be looked down upon.  Students studying in govt schools were perceived as the ones whose parents could not afford to send them to private schools. That feeling around the quality of govt schools being substandard and not at par, has successfully subsided now. The class XII results of Delhi Govt school students just show that they are no less than other private school students and that they can achieve anything. The results have proved that our students are no less than anyone."

He further said that the poor people have also started taking more interest in their child's studies because they are constantly motivated by the efforts put in by the team education. They attend parent-teacher meetings and are thoroughly involved in their child's education. Our teachers have also proved that their contribution can make such a big difference and give us such outstanding results.  Our hopes have risen, and now the team is expected to secure 100% results. The bar has been raised, and everyone is hoping for even better performance. "

In 70 years of Indian History,it is for the first time that a state has achieved a 98% pass percentage and if this is a new record not achieved by any other state, be it at CBSE board or state board, then it calls for a greater celebration- CM Kejriwal

CM Kejriwal highlighted that this could be the first time that a state has achieved such a massive pass percentage of 98% and asked the team to analyse if any other state in India has achieved it before. "In 70 years of Indian History,it is for the first time that a state has got 98% pass percentage and if this is a new record not achieved by any other state, be it at CBSE board or state board, then it calls for a greater celebration.
