T20 World Cup in Durban and the match ended in a tie. However, as per the rules
of the tournament at that time, India managed to lose the tie-breaker 3–0 to
Pakistan.

Final: Joginder Sharma's last ball amazing
After
the group match, once again India and Pakistan were brought face to face. Yes
it was the final match that 10 days after the Durban thriller played at the
Wanderers, one of the most memorable games in World T20 history.

Gambhir scored 75 runs in 54 balls. India scored 157 runs for five wickets.
Misbah fought very well for Pakistan. Once when Pakistan had to achieve an
impossible target of 54 in 24 balls to win, Misbah pulled it to 6 runs in the
last 4 balls. But on Joginder Sharma's last ball, Misbah went ahead to take the
ball to fine leg, but it fell safely into Sreesanth's hands, thus winning the
World T20 trophy by five runs.
2012 - Group
match: Virat Kohli beats Pakistan's hopes
Once
again India and Pakistan faced each other in the World T20 but this time it was
a one-sided match in which India registered an easy eight-wicket victory. Virat
Kohli dashed Pakistan's hopes of victory by scoring 78 runs in 61 balls.
2014 – Group
match
India
and Pakistan were once again face to face where again India succeeded in
defeating Pakistan. Playing first, Pakistan scored 130 runs for seven wickets,
in response to which India chased down the target comfortably in 18.3 overs and
won. Shikhar Dhawan (30), Virat Kohli (36*) and Suresh Raina (35*) contributed
brilliantly.
2016 - Group
match: Yuvraj Singh's 24 runs in 23 balls
The
last match between the two sides in the World T20 was played in Kolkata five
years ago. Due to rain, the game was reduced to 18 overs, yet Pakistan scored
118 runs for five wickets. Yuvraj Singh's 24 runs in 23 balls and Kohli's 55
runs helped India win Pakistan.
