Arvind Kejriwal said that Delhi saw a revolution happen, now Punjab will see one, and soon the whole country will cheer for Inquilab. What people of Punjab have done is truly miraculous, we love you Punjab, you’ve embarked upon a huge revolution.
He reminisced upon the dirty politics that panned out during the elections and added, “Babasaheb and Bhagat Singh’s dreams have been realised today, we’ve built schools for the poor, given them excellent healthcare and ample opportunities to stand shoulder to shoulder with the elite class. This was no easy task. There are greater powers at work to derail our plans and hinder the growth of the country. We’re very weak compared to them. Biggest of the conspiracies unfolded in Punjab, be it vote transfers or nefarious acts, they did all they could, but they failed miserably.
In the end they resorted to calling me a terrorist. Through the results we’ve gotten today, the people of this country have proven that I am not a terrorist but a ‘sapoot’ of this soil. They have proven that the real terrorists are those who are looting this country. Today we must all take a pledge to build an India of the new-era as we stand in face of a new-dawn.
In our idea of India, no one shall sleep on an empty stomach, no woman would ever have to fear, no child would have to worry for their education. Why is it that our children are forced to go to smaller countries to seek medical education? In our India, we’d build so many colleges that no child would need to leave India to seek a good education but instead children from the world over would come here to study.”
