Despite a rainy day in Delhi, a historic leap for 150 women from traditional saving schemes to the latest scheme by Postal Department- Mahila Bachat Samman Patra. Shri Virendra Sachdeva, President Delhi BJP being the guest of honour. The event was meant to honour the spirit of women who came from various backgrounds from all across Delhi NCR.
On the occasion, Smt. Priyal Bhardwaj, B.J.P., Delhi, the Vice President of Mahila Morcha, “Furthering the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to empower women, the "Mahila Samman Bachat Patra Sammelan" acted as a catalyst for change, empowering women to achieve economic independence.
It recognized the invaluable contributions of women and provided them with a platform to secure their economic future. By opening their own savings accounts, these women gained control over their lives and took an important step towards economic empowerment.”
