Prime Minister Narendra Modi created history today when he returned as Prime Minister for the third consecutive time. With taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time, he became the second Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru to achieve this feat. The biggest feature of the leaders who took oath for the ministerial post today was that about 6 such ministers who took oath have been Chief Ministers of different states like Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Manohar Lal Khattar, HD Kumaraswamy, Sarbananda Sonowal and Jitan Ram Manjhi.

It is worth mentioning that the NDA allies in the Modi 3.0 cabinet starting from today include Chandrababu Naidu's TDP, Nitish Kumar-led JDU, Chirag Paswan's LJP, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena and Jayant Chaudhary's RLD. Ministers from these parties also took oath today.
