Rare planetary parade

  • In a rare phenomenon, many planets were remained visible simultaneously and also appeared to be aligned when seen from Earth.
  • The extraordinary celestial event known as a planetary alignment or a planet parade.
  • Name of the planets aligned-Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Mercury, Saturn and Venus, 
  •  treated to outer space.

A village in Maharashtra’s Nashik district has been renamed "Hero Chi Wadi" by the residents to honour the legacy of the late actor- Irrfan Khan

Asteroid 2025 DU7

  • Asteroid 2025 DU7  is 15 feet in size and belongs to the Apollo group of asteroids was in news as it made its closest approach to Earth on February 28, 2025. 
  • The asteroid was traveling at a speed of 7,175 miles per hour.
