New Delhi: The BJYM today commenced its membership drive "Yuva Sadasya – Yuva Mitra Abhiyan" launched formally by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha National President Anurag Thakur on July 15th 2013. It was announced in a press conference that on July 23rd ie the Birth Anniversary of Chandra Shekhar Azad, all the BJYM State Chief across India will start working on this drive on the ground.
Alongwith Thakur, all the Office Bearers of BJYM will set out today to reach the target of enrolling 1 crore youngsters with the BJYM. Starting out the campaign in Una, Himachal Pradesh, Thakur himself addressing youths said that "the time has now come for a Congress-free India because Narendra Modi is dream of "Congress Mukt Bharat, Vikas Yukt Bharat" will only be successful when the youth of India will get attached to BJP and its ideology of development for all. Looking at the enthusiasm of the youth collected here at Una it is certain that not only Himachal but the whole of India will be free from Congress's misgovernance and misrules. The youth today is not only unemployed but also under confident due to Congress's policies."
Thakur reiterated that "The first 500 youths to do maximum enrollment from across India and those 20 youths who give the best suggestions via social media or in written for the upcoming 2014 parliamentary elections will be invited to have a personal meeting with our Election Campaign Committee Chief and Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narender Modi Ji.
The Slogan for this drive is "Judega Yuva, Badlega Bharat" and to ensure that we reach the set target the Zila membership incharge, Booth membership incharge would be appointed for effective door-to-door campaign. Today the youth is ready to join with the BJP, all we need to do is to ensure that we approach them ourselves and connect with them through this membership drive.
