Leader of House, Subhash Arya today said that BJP is against all the tax proposals put up by the executive wing and will not support them in the House. He said that due to the ineffective policies and poor administration of Congress, citizens of Delhi are facing huge inflation.
Arya said that in last three-four years the prices of essential commodities such as petrol, LPG, electricity, water, vegetables, fruits and milk are skyrocketing and beyond the reach of common man. In this situation increased tax proposals by Corporation will be an additional burden on citizens of Delhi.
Arya said that North Delhi Municipal Corporation has proposed hike in property tax and parking. Moreover they have introduced a new tax as Congestion Charges. Like NDMC, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporation also proposed to increase property tax and parking. BJP is completely against these proposals as they are not in the interest of the citizens of Delhi.
Arya added that BJP always work for the interests and rights of common man and in all three Corporations there is government of BJP, which is not in the favour of this increased tax proposal and will show their disapproval in the discussions of House. He said in the election we have promised that we will not put the burden of additional increased tax on the citizens of Delhi.
