Ultimately the Aam Aadmi Party passed the ultimate test in Delhi State Assembly as the confidence motion was a major hurdle in government formation as a coalition government. However AAP passed the hurdle and chief minister Arvind Kejriwal won the vote of confidence motion kept by Manish Sisodia in the house.

In his emotional speech, chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said that there is an unusual VIP culture in this country. This culture we need to eradicate from Delhi and this country.

Talking about the intention of AAP in making government, he made it clear that he has not come here to ask any one for the support. He said that there is a lot to be done including the full statehood.

Kejriwal said that AAP believes that the middle class is part of aam aadmi and all those tired of this system is aam aadmi. He assured that his government will take stringent action corrupt and any one found corrupt, be it in last 15 years of Congress government or MCD or our own government, will be punished.

BJP leader Harshvardhan taking part in the confidence motion said that his party can’t support a ally like AAP to the most corrupt Congress in Delhi.

He slams both AAP and Congress and said that neither could claim the moral high ground on the issue of promising good governance to the people of Delhi, as their alliance was bereft of both honesty and credibility.

Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely said that Congress supported AAP for the welfare of the people of Delhi and it will continue if the government will focus on the development of the people.
