New Delhi: To support Indian industry to actively reach out to the Central European region, FICCI in partnership with Ministry of External Affairs, GoI, is organizing "India-Central Europe Business Forum" (ICEBF) on 27th and 28th March 2014 at Federation House, New Delhi.

Ms. Preneet Kaur, MoS for External Affairs, GoI will address the inaugural session on 27th March, 2014.

This initiative aims to provide an institutionalized platform to discuss trade and investment opportunities for Indian & Central European companies in each other's markets.

According to Mr. Sidharth Birla, President, FICCI, "Recent years have seen an increase in the number of business delegations between Central European countries and India. Indian companies increasingly view this region as a good trade and investment jurisdiction. FICCI, via this initiative, hopes to facilitate interaction and dialogue between members of Indian industry and their Central European counterparts focusing on sectoral and regional opportunities. We wish this engagement turns into an annual event. The response from both sides has been encouraging and we hope for tangible outcomes."

Over 100 business delegates from 14 Central European countries led by senior officials and industry leaders will participate at this important business engagement.

The forum shall be addressed by senior industry and government officials. The program includes three regional and two investment sessions. Also, structured B2B meetings have been planned for so that companies can use this opportunity to propose and evaluate business leads across the table.
