Mumbai: This Valentine’s Day, there was an event in Mumbai to inspire singles and couples of all ages to support “Garrimaa" foundation. GARIMAA is a commitment by all of us to stand up for a dignified, graceful world around us and also bringing excellence into existence. Additional Commissioner of Police Mr. Krishnaprakash (IPS) were seen praising women of today, he said, "Today women's does not need empowerment they need support and I think "Garrimaa" is what they want and Mrs. Sharda Raut Deputy Commissioner of Police also seen sharing their valuable opinion and talking about women values and priorities.
Honorable Advisor Shubhash Avate said, "A woman of substance is a woman of power, a woman of positive influence and a woman of meaning. To be branded "A woman of substance" is one of the greatest compliments one can give a woman that wants to be an “influential” lady."
Garrimaa's Chairperson Nettra Sorap said, "I am proud to say that I accomplished every goal set forth by the grace of God and through positive influences around me. So this Valentine's Day, I challenge you to look at the Women with value. Despite our successes in gender equality, as women we continue to hear that our worth is in our beauty and our ability to woo men with our doe-eyed, sexuality, then obviously we still have a long way to go."
