Ardhendu Bhushan
Bardhan, the Veteran Communist Party of India leader A B Bardhan died on
02-01-2016 after prolonged illness. He
is survived by son Ashok and daughter Alka.- Earlier he was
connected with the All India Students Federation and was its member when he
took part in the freedom movement.
- Bardhan became the Deputy General Secretary of CPI
and succeeded Indrajit Gupta as General Secretary of the party in 1996.
- Bardhan won as
an Independent candidate in the Maharashtra Assembly in 1957.
