New Delhi: Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari has said that Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal is now taking revenge from the people of Delhi for his party’s defeat in Municipal Elections. By increasing water & power tariff, he is trying to break the back of middle & lower income families.
Tiwari said that the during the Municipal election campaign Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal openly said that if Aam Aadmi Party loses then the water & power tariffs will go up and now the Chief Minister is proving his threat correct.
Delhi BJP President has said that after Arvind Kejriwal Government’s direct announcement of water tariff hike now Delhi Electric Regulatory Authority has issued a public notice for an anticipated 30% increase in power tariff. Now the people of Delhi well understand that Kejriwal Government had actually consented to the Metro tariff hike and all its protest was a deceit to mislead the people.
Tiwari has said Delhi BJP will force the Kejriwal Government to withdraw the water tariff hike and we will file objections at D.E.R.C. against power tariff hike alongwith launching a public agitation.
