Prime Minister Narender Modi has said that the zeal and trust of the people of Delhi towards BJP is enough to display that BJP Government is going to be formed in Delhi.
He said that this is the first election of the decade and it will decide about the future development of India.
Addressing a massive Public Meeting in Dwarka, New Delhi, PM said that Delhi needs a Government which does not accuse others rather gives a new direction and I say with full responsibility that after the formation of BJP Government, Delhi will attain new heights of development.
Modi said that the pace at which the central government has worked in the last five years is itself unprecedented. Today, so many people have got the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana which is more than the total population of America, Mexico, Canada. The number of people who have received loans under the Mudra scheme is much higher than the population of Brazil.
PM further said that there should be a leadership in Delhi which like the CAA, Article 370, will support the country on all decisions of national security. People who provoke people for appeasement for their political gain, cannot benefit Delhi. These people may cry for the terrorists of Batla House, put Delhi Police in the dock for their safety but cannot develop Delhi. After the Citizenship Amendment Act was enacted, the people of Delhi are seeing from the first day that the opposition is lying to the people.
Modi said that the biggest concern of Delhi was to regularize the 1731unauthorized colonies where more than 40 lakh people live. The Delhi government was anxious that the matter should be postponed for some more years, but the BJP government showed a willingness to remove this concern and the people living in these colonies got the right to own the house.
