Vaccine Progress:  In a bid to review personally the the vaccine development and manufacturing process for COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited today three major Instituted including Bharat Biotech facility at Hyderabad, Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad     and Serum Institute of India, Pune. Keeping the pepole expectation and hope on high regarding the Corona Vaccine, Prime Minister reviewed personally the development and manufacturing process for the Coronavirus Vaccine Progress. PM tweeted about his visits to these major laboratories/institutes of the country.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bharat Biotech facility at Hyderabad as part of his three city visit to personally review the vaccine development and manufacturing process for Covid.


Shri Modi tweeted  "at the Bharat Biotech facility in Hyderabad, was briefed about their indigenous COVID-19 vaccine. Congratulated the scientists for their progress in the trials so far. Their team is closely working with ICMR to facilitate speedy progress."

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Visited the Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad to know more about the indigenous DNA based vaccine being developed by Zydus Cadila.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Visited the Zydus Biotech Park in Ahmedabad to know more about the indigenous DNA based vaccine being developed by Zydus Cadila. I compliment the team behind this effort for their work. Government of India is actively working with them to support them in this journey."


PM visits Serum Institute of India, Pune

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi visited Serum Institute of India, Pune and interacted with the team at the Institute. They shared details about their progress so far on how they plan to further ramp up vaccine manufacturing.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Had a good interaction with the team at Serum Institute of India. They shared details about their progress so far on how they plan to further ramp up vaccine manufacturing. Also took a look at their manufacturing facility."
