is also part of festival of Hariyaali Teej which is known as Pedakiya or

there is not any official facts about the beginning of Gujiya, but it is
believed to have originated in India in the medieval era. After the arrival of
the Mughals during the 13th-14th century, Indian sweets changed, and Gujiya got
more variety. As you know, India is the land of festival and many cultural heritages,
which provide the opportunity to many regional sweets and kind of regional and
specifil local recipes. As it has been said, Pedakiya or Purukiya which is a
kind of Gujiyaa, is commonly famous in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh i.e. in
Poorvanchal India. Again the Gujiyaa was originally prepared in North India,
especially Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. It is also
mentioned in ancient Indian texts and royal kitchens.<o:p></o:p>

There
are many types of Gujiya, which differ based on its ingredients and cooking

Mawa
(Khoya) Gujiya - Basically it the most traditional form of Gujiya in which we use to fill a mixture of khoya, the milk product of Milk with dry
fruits and coconut.

Chocolate
Gujiya – it is basically the new new-generation special Gujiya in which the next generation ust to fill  a mix of chocolate and nuts.

Kaju

Method:</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Sieve flour then mix baking powder, breadcrumbs and spices.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Add dry fruits, apple, almond & lemon zest and mix well. Keep aside.</div>

Take another bowl mix butter, salt and brown sugar till sugar dissolve completely. Add eggs, milk and brandy.</div>

Then slowly mix both mixtures till smooth in consistency.</div>

Baking- grease the 5(250 gms each) pudding moulds, fill this mixture and cover with cling wrap. Cook these moulds in double boiler in the oven at the temperature 120 degrees C for two hours.</div>

Once baked cool it down on ambient temperature than keep in the cold storage.</div>

2 Curd 150 Gm 
3 Garlic 10 Gm 
4 Ginger 10 Gm 
5 Lemon   30 Gm 
6 Jalapenos 15 Gm 
7 Black pepper 5 Gm 
9 Garam Masala 10 Gm 
10 Cumin Powder 5 Gm 
11 Cardamom Powder 5 Gm 
12 Ginger Powder 5 Gm 
13 Mustard Oil 10 Ml 
14 Salt Tata                 6 Gm 
15 Black Salt 3 Gm 
16 Butter 10 Gm 
17 Chat Masala 10 Gm 
 
18 Mint chutney 30 Gm 
 
Method:  
Take chicken leg boneless wash it nicely remove all moisture and cut one by four.  
First marinate it with ginger garlic paste and salt.                    
Keep it in the chiller for two hours now add chopped jalapenos, all dry masala powder, salt pepper, mustard oil, hung curd and lemon juice.    
 Keep the marinate chicken in fridge for four hours for better taste.  
Take out and arrange the pieces on skewers. 
Cook it in the tandoor at 300 degree centigrate.  
Baste it with butter just after almost done.  
 
Cook it nicely and serve hot with green chutney and laccha onion salad.</div>
